Born in Havana, Cuba,  delves into the realms of observation, perception, and imagination. This artistic journey emerges from a unique visual language and a deep investigation into the meaningfulness of the painting process; the imagined becomes physical.

The visuals evoke a feeling akin to gazing into a body of water, instilling a desire to dive beneath the surface—creating a thrilling tension that feels suspended in time. Capturing the precise line or shade of a form that takes shape is at the heart of her practice.

At just six years old, while perched on the balcony of her family’s second-floor apartment in Central Havana, she sketched a car and excitedly shared it with her father and uncle. Her uncle seized the moment to impart traditional techniques for drawing a car, emphasizing generalized shapes and simplified forms. Yet, his guidance sparked a lifelong commitment to crafting art that is both authentic and meaningful. This quiet resolve to honor the essence of perception has profoundly influenced her artistic choices and practices ever since.

Currently works and resides in Philadelphia, exhibits nationally.
